Privacy Policy

Protecting your personal data is of particular concern to us. Therefore, we process your data exclusively on the basis of legal provisions (DSG 2018, GDPR, TKG 2003). In these privacy policies, we inform you about the most important aspects of data processing within our website.

Please read this statement carefully, as it explains how we collect, process, or store your personal data. Every access to our website and each retrieval of a file stored on this website is logged. The storage serves internal system-related and statistical purposes. Logged are: name of the retrieved file, date, time of access, amount of data transferred, notification of successful retrieval, web browser, requesting domain, IP address of the requesting computer, search words, etc. We process and store all personal data that you provide to us in the context of email inquiries (e.g., name, address, email address, telephone number, etc.) for the purpose of carrying out the contact you requested and for further customer relationship maintenance. These data will be stored until you submit a written request for deletion.

Further personal data is only collected if you voluntarily provide information, for example in the context of an inquiry or registration or for the conclusion of a contract or through the settings of your browser. Should we transfer data to external service providers, appropriate technical and organizational measures will be taken to ensure that the transfer complies with legal data protection regulations.

1. CONTACTING US
1.1.
When contacting us via email, the user's details are stored for the purpose of processing the inquiry as well as for possible follow-up questions.

1.2. We will not pass on these data without your consent, unless this is necessary for contract fulfillment or for pre-contractual measures. Without this data, we cannot conclude the contract with you. This is particularly relevant for applications via email addresses.

2. ACCESS DATA/ SERVER LOG FILES
2.1.
The provider (or its web space provider) collects data on access to the site (so-called server log files). Access data includes: name of the accessed website, file, date and time of access, amount of data transferred, notification of successful access, browser type and version, the user's operating system, referrer URL (the previously visited site), IP address, and the requesting provider.

2.2. The provider uses the log data only for statistical evaluations for the purpose of operation, security, and optimization of the site. However, the provider reserves the right to review the log data retrospectively if there is a justified suspicion of illegal use based on concrete evidence.

3. HANDLING OF PERSONAL DATA
3.1.
We automatically collect and store information in our server log files that your browser transmits to us. This includes: browser type/version, operating system used, referrer URL (the previously visited page), hostname of the accessing computer (IP address), and time of the server request. These data cannot be attributed to specific individuals by the provider. A combination of these data with other data sources is not performed, and the data are only used for statistical evaluations.

3.2. Personal data is only collected, used, and passed on by the provider if it is legally permitted or if users consent to data collection.

3.3. We will retain your personal information only for as long as is necessary for the purposes set out in this privacy policy, unless a longer retention period is required by law (such as tax, accounting, or other legal requirements).

3.4. If we have no ongoing legitimate business need to process your personal information, we will either delete or anonymize it. If this is not possible (for example, because your personal information has been stored in backup archives), we will securely store your personal information and isolate it from any further processing until deletion is possible.

More information on handling user data at Google Analytics can be found in Google's privacy policy under the following link support.google.com/analytics/answer/6004245.

5.2. You can prevent this by setting up your browser so that no cookies are stored. The information generated by the cookies about your use of this website (including your IP address) is transmitted to a Google server and stored there. Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports on website activities. We use this information exclusively for the purposes of our own market research and optimization of the design of the website.

5.3. Google may also transfer this information to third parties if required by law or if third parties process this data on behalf of Google. Google will in no case associate your IP address with other data. You can prevent the installation of cookies by setting your browser software accordingly; however, please note that in this case, you may not be able to use all functions of this website to their full extent. The respective plugin can be recognized by the logo of Facebook. The complete overview of all Facebook plugins can be viewed under the following link: developers.facebook.com/docs/plugins.

7.2.

When the plugin is active, as soon as you visit our website, it establishes a direct connection between your internet browser and the Facebook servers. 8. INTEGRATION OF THIRD-PARTY SERVICES AND CONTENT
8.1. It is possible that third-party content, such as videos from YouTube, maps from Google Maps, RSS feeds, or graphics from other websites are integrated into the website. This always presupposes that the providers of this content perceive the IP address of the users because without the IP address, the content cannot be sent to the browser of the respective user. The IP address is thus required for the display of this content. We strive to use only those contents whose respective providers use the IP address only for the delivery of the contents. However, we have no influence if the third-party providers store the IP address e.g. for statistical purposes. As far as this is known to us, we clarify the users about it.

8.1.1. YouTube Videos: Videos stored on YouTube can be embedded on this website. The website only enables the connection to YouTube. YouTube is a service of Google. All YouTube videos on this website have the so-called "extended privacy mode" activated. This extended privacy mode is provided by YouTube and ensures that YouTube does not store cookies with personal data on your computer. When accessing the website and embedding the videos, the IP address is transmitted. This cannot be assigned if you have not logged in to YouTube or another Google service before calling up the page or are permanently logged in. As soon as you start playing an embedded video by clicking on it, YouTube only stores cookies on your computer that do not contain personally identifiable data due to the extended privacy mode. These cookies can be prevented by appropriate browser settings and extensions. Further information on the embedding of YouTube videos can be found on YouTube's information page.

8.1.2. Our website may also contain the following third-party content: Google Maps maps, Instagram, Xing. This always presupposes that the providers of this content perceive the IP address of the users because without the IP address, they could not send the content to the browser of the respective user. The IP address is thus required for the display of this content. We strive to use only those contents whose respective providers use the IP address only for the delivery of the contents. However, we have no influence if the third-party providers store the IP address e.g. for statistical purposes. As far as this is known to us, we clarify the users about it.

9. YOUR RIGHTS
You have the right to access, rectification, deletion, restriction, data portability, withdrawal, and objection.
